 Daniel Ruggiero is the owner of Daniel Jewelers in Brewster, New York. Born in Italy in a small town an hour and a half east of Naples, Donato, as he was known, grew up steeped in the gold and jewelry traditions of Italy from a young age. He went on to later study goldsmithing in Valenza, Italy, famous for it's gold craftsmanship.Daniel came to the United States and quickly moved up from doing repairs to goldsmithing for major jewelry manufacturers. By 1979 he was the manager of a retail jewelry store in New York, and in 1988 he opened his own jewelry store in Pawling, New York with five cases and twenty-six rings. He remembers having to artfully spread them out on individual display stands to make the cases look like they had more merchandise.In 1996 Daniel Jewelers moved to a larger and more conveniently located store in Brewster, New York where he remains today. Now Daniel's is a Master IJO Jeweler, and boasts an on-site jewelry workroom staffed with an experienced jeweler and goldsmith. Daniel's can do everything from a completely custom piece to repairs, ring sizing, engraving and appraisals.Daniel's motto is, "Our goal is your complete satisfaction".
